Laughter and love filled the room as we gathered in commUNITY at Sprout. A story of hope and resiliency was shared by Kristi, a graduate of Marlene’s Place. Performances by Musical Guest, Patricia Lacy, and Youth Dance Artists Zhané Jackson and Desaré Cox uplifted our hearts and spirits.

Dr. Stephanie Burrage, Chief Equity Officer for the State of MN, reflected on collective listening to inspire community change; and Executive Director Lisa Mears, provided a glimpse into program expansion for pregnant and/or parenting youth at The Bridge. Together, Lisa Mears, Board Chair Geoff Jones, & Sister Jean Wincek presented the 2023 Legacy Award to Tom Sawyer in recognition to his 20 years of leadership at The Bridge.
