A block party celebration of Juneteenth.

Join us at commUNITY Juneteenth celebration! We’re closing down the street in front of The Bridge for a block party on Sunday, June 11th from 2pm-5pm along Emerson Ave., from 22nd-24th Street. Enjoy live entertainment, fun activities, sponsor booths & purchase food from local BIPOC-owned food trucks. We’ll also have the Mobile Youth Outreach Center bus parked for tours. This commUNITY event is FREE and all are welcome. Bring a friend and spend the afternoon at The Bridge.

On June 11th, we’ll deliberately gather in commUNITY to recognize the importance of Black Liberation as we commemorate Juneteenth. Join us in commUNITY to support The Bridge and our mission, learn more or educate others.

DJ Brian Lansing
Jam to the tunes of DJ Brian Lansing of Mic Drop Entertainment, Official DJ for the MN Wild. DJ Brian will be bringing The MDE Mobile Boombox. Brian has been bringing fun to audiences across the country as a professional Host & DJ since 2009. His style is a unique blend of high energy, wit and professionalism.
Currently he is an In Arena Host & DJ for the Minnesota Wild, a Host for the Vikings, and DJ for X Games. In addition he has Hosted game shows for brands like Twitter, Tik Tok,Yahoo, A&E, and Nike.
Brian is a proud Husband and Father to two little boys. He is a movie nerd, sushi aficionado, and Huge fan of The Rock. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, working out, and being outside.
Titambe Drum and Dance Ensemble
Titambe Drum and Dance Ensemble was established February 2001 in Copenhagen Denmark.
In 2003, the founder and artistic director Christian Adeti relocated to the United States of America and formed another branch of the Titambe Drum and Dance Ensemble Company in Minnesota – Titambe West African Dance Ensemble
Their mission is to preserve traditional African drumming and dance heritage as well as promoting cultural understanding which educates audiences of all ages about different African countries through language, music, and movement for a better appreciation of diversity.

BIPOC owned food trucks, Dee’s Street Food, The Cave Café , and Flame Mobile Kitchen will be lining the street and will have great food available for purchase!
