Together with youth, we transformed our emergency shelter space to ensure all youth feel safe, accepted, and supported.
Resilience House, emergency shelter for youth ages 10-17, has been remodeled to better support our youth. Led by youth voices, and designed in collaboration with students at Dunwoody College of Technology and our partners at Joy Collaborative and Doran Companies, this remodel transforms how we support youth in shelter. Part of a multiyear renovation project, this design aimed to make intentional space more trauma responsive for youth to heal and feel safe.

This renovation is another amazing example of what happens when our community shows love and care. Through listening to what our youth need, we honor that youth hold the wisdom, power, and resilience to thrive.
Your donation to The Bridge for Youth helps us grow our capacity to meet the needs of youth in shelter. Phase two of renovations at The Bridge begin soon. Make a gift today to show you support!
